We're still more than a month away from the start of high school football practice in the state, but the Las Vegas Sun is all set with the release of its pre-season rankings for large schools.
Defending 4A state champ Bishop Gorman, which has won two of the last three state titles, is ranked #1 to start the season. The Gaels are the defending champs, and are coming off a 2009 season that saw the team score 798 points, which was the most by any school in America.
Earlier this month, MaxPreps.com ranked Gorman #23 in its pre-pre season poll. You can check-out that story at The High School Football Huddle.
