Shawn Dupris has left Bonanza for the head coach job at Damonte Ranch.
Dupris takes over for Tony Amantia, who resigned in January after a 3-7 campaign last year. It was the school's five losing season in six as a varsity program.
At Bonanza, Dupris was 23-28 in six seasons at head coach.

Bishop Gorman Beats Chaparral (AZ) in Sollenberger Classic

Nevada High School Football HuddleBishop Gorman started the season in a big way Saturday night with a solid 42-22 win over Chaparral (Arizona) in a battle of nationally-ranked teams at the Sollenberger Classic at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
The Gaels were led by Shaq Powell who scored six touchdowns while rushing for 303 yards on 28 carries. Powell also catch three passes for 34 yards.
Bishop Gorman entered the game ranked #10 in MaxPreps.com's Preseason Top 25 Poll, while Chaparral was ranked #24.
